Opening Day - May 26th!
All teams will play on Opening Day May 26th! Lots of fun for everyone.
On May 26th, 2018 East York House League Baseball will celebrating its 66th Opening Day. All 52 House League teams will play between 9am and 5pm. That is 26 baseball games played by 780 players and watched by 1000s of fans. If you have not been informed of your son or daughter’s team, please double check your junk mail and contact your convenor if necessary.
We will have the Snack Bar and a BBQ firing with lots of delicious items to purchase. All teams will recieve a treat after their game as well for each player.
EY Swag – We will have some EY merchandise available to purchase on Opening Day. Again, the complication of not having the access to the clubhouse means we have not been able to order more yet this year. We will also have information on how you can purchase some swag items online.
Used Sports Jerseys - We are also collecting used clean sport jerseys for donation. Working with Eagle Beaver sports we will send these jerseys to places in need. So clean out your closets and bring all those baseball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, ball hockey, and other jerseys you no longer want.
House League Pants – If your child’s baseball pants do not fit please hold onto them until Opening Day. We will have a place to make exchanges on that day. Without our clubhouse, we do not have the ability to facilitate pant exchanges at the moment. We will ensure all players have the pants they need. Please do not call or go to Eagle Beaver sports for this. Coaches, if you have any extra pants, please bring them to us on Saturday as well.
Scores – Coaches from both teams are asked to report the score after every game to: scores@eastyorkbaseball.com.

**A small disclaimer that some of these items are dependent on the city having completed the renovations and allow us into the clubhouse by Saturday. Keep those fingers crossed!
