Minor Rookie AAA Tournament
General Information
Introduction
Each team will be guaranteed 3 games minimum, weather permitting. EYBA will make every attempt to complete all scheduled games in a fair and timely manner.
Any changes in schedule due to weather will be posted at the registration desk. Your designated team contact person will be notified by text or phone.
Registration
Every team must register prior to playing their first game.
The registration area at Stan Wadlow Park will be open starting at 3:30 pm on Friday, June 15. It will be located behind the East York Community Centre adjacent to the snack bar.
At Registration you or your team will be asked to provide the following information:
Skills Competition
Please review the handout regarding the skills competition held on Saturday June 16. Because of the tournament schedule, each team has a tight window to complete their skills events. Please arrive at your designated time.
Audio Equipment
We have secured PA systems for each of our game diamonds. Please be prepared to provide your batting order with jersey number and first names to the announcer 10 minutes prior to the start of the game.
Snack Bar
The Snack Bar will be open throughout the tournament and serves all the good stuff that kids love – hot dogs, chips, freezies, cold drinks, sunflower seeds, candy, etc. We will also be running the BBQs Friday evening, Saturday morning and early afternoon, and on Sunday.
Washrooms
There are men's, women's, and a universal washroom on site. They are located on the north side of the Clubhouse (accessible from the outside around the back of the snack bar).
Other Facilities
Our park also has a large playground with swings and slides, a skateboard park, and a splash pad to cool off in on a hot day. The pool is only open in July & August.

Parking
There are 3 parking lots in close proximity to Stan Wadlow Park along with plenty of street parking.
Lot 1 – Cosburn south side across from Stan Wadlow just east of the East York Curling Club.
Lot 2 – Cedarvale Ave. East side of the street and also acts as parking lot for East York Memorial Arena
Lot 3 – Cedarvale Ave. West side of street across from Kiwanis pool.
Street Parking – for those who are not able to find parking in a lot, there is plenty of street parking around the park and in adjacent streets to the park. Please obey all traffic rules and street parking signs.
Parking enforcement in Toronto is very quick to issue tickets so don’t let them ruin your weekend by towing your vehicle away because you were in rush and parked illegally.
Note: There is a turnaround off Cedarvale by the Stan Wadlow Clubhouse. Do not leave your vehicle parked there as it is a fire lane and you will be towed.
